Mobile Marketing

You’ve heard it before, but it bears repeating: The Yellow Pages are dead. Yes they’re holding on, but it won’t be much longer now. Google is the new Yellow Pages and many people use their phone as the Yellow Pages, especially when they are looking for Local Business.

Despite what they tell you, advertising at the Yellow Pages’s website is a colossal waste of time and money. Why pay to list with them, when Google is free? The answer is, because it comes with a website and most small business thinks they need a website to be found on Google. Not true on both accounts.

Let me repeat that. You don’t need to have a website to be found on Google. Yellow Pages are in a no way a replacement for your own website. Their sites are not Search Engine Optimized.

Should you have your own website? Absolutely, it will help tremendously. But you don’t need it right away.

If you use Local and Mobile Search correctly, you can still get found and get more business. But are you doing everything correctly: Facebook Business Page, Foursquare, Facebook Check In, Yelp, Mobile Ads (do you even need them?) And did you know that HALF of all Social Media activity takes place on mobile devices?

In this iPhone, Android and iPad world, you have got to be Mobile Optimized. Let us help you navigate this bleeding edge technology.
